Schedules & test runs
Schedule presets, timezones, plan limits, and trying a playbook by hand.
Schedule presets
The Schedule picker on a playbook's page offers four presets:
| Preset | When it fires |
|---|---|
| Every hour | on the hour |
| Every weekday at 9:00 | Monday–Friday |
| Every day at 9:00 | daily |
| Every Monday at 9:00 | weekly |
The picker notes "Times are in {timezone}" — a playbook created with the assistant uses your browser's timezone; one created manually uses UTC (see Creating a playbook).
Plan limits on frequency
- Trial workspaces run playbooks up to once a day — the hourly preset is visible but marked Pro. Picking a too-frequent schedule is refused: "Your trial runs playbooks up to once a day. Pick a daily or slower schedule, or upgrade for hourly."
- Pro workspaces schedule down to every hour.
- No playbook, on any plan, fires more than once per hour.
Test run
Test run on the playbook page executes the playbook once, immediately, and streams the output live — read-only, exactly like a scheduled run. The button shows the price up front ("· N credits") and is enabled once the playbook has instructions, at least one mounted skill, and values for its required variables.
Test runs land in the playbook's run history marked Test, but they don't affect the run-health shown on the playbook card — that reflects scheduled runs only — and they never send notifications.
What makes a scheduled run fire
An Active playbook fires when its schedule comes due, as long as the workspace has credits. Out of credits, scheduled playbooks pause silently and resume by themselves on refill — see Trial & Pro.
