Adding skills from the gallery

The Skill Gallery is a curated catalog of ready-to-use skills — GitHub, Slack, Stripe, PagerDuty, Jira, Notion, Sentry, and more. Add one, drop in your API key, and it's live. Every gallery skill's read operations were executed against the real API by the open Skillet pipeline before it shipped; write operations are never run during verification.

Browsing

Open Gallery in the sidebar. You can search by name and filter with category chips — Dev & Code, Incident & Observability, Infra & Cloud, Comms & Messaging, Work & Project, Business & Support, AI & Utility.

Each card shows the app's name, category, a one-line summary, and how many operations its skill carries.

Inspecting before you add

Click a card to open the skill's gallery page. Before adding anything you can see:

• You'll need — exactly which credential(s) the skill requires, each with a link to the provider's page for creating one.
• Operations — every API call in the manifest, with write operations visually distinguished from read-only ones.
• Skill documentation — the skill's own SKILL.md, in full.

Adding a skill

Click Add. The skill is copied into your workspace with its current version stamped, and you land directly in the connect conversation for its credential. Adding is free — credits are only spent when skills run.

Once added, the gallery card shows Added ✓ and links to your copy of the skill. If the gallery later publishes a newer version, an Update button appears — updating refreshes the operations in place and leaves your credentials and variable defaults untouched.

Some apps appear dimmed with a Notify me button instead of Add — they're on the way but not yet live. Clicking registers your interest.

Starter collections

Above the grid, Starter collections bundle skills around a job — for example Payment Ops (watch Stripe activity and alert your team) or Incident Response (triage PagerDuty incidents into Slack and Jira). A collection page shows its member skills, the combined You'll need credential list, and two actions:

• Add all to my skills — adds every member skill you don't have yet.
• Create playbook from this collection — creates a paused playbook pre-filled with the collection's instructions template and all member skills mounted, then opens it so you can review the schedule and enable it.

Signing in first

The gallery lives inside your workspace, so it requires an account — visitors are sent through sign-up first. A publicly browsable version of the same skill catalog is available on the Skillet Gallery.
